MSGSOCK006 - This error started for ACS on local network after MacOS 26.7 Update

Started getting this error when I upgraded to MacOS 26.7 from 26.6.  Seems consistent since it happened with 2 machines.

Only a problem on my 192.168.* local network.

It’s called: Apple’s Local Network Protection (LNP) security layer.

I can run ACS via java command line from Terminal and it works fine, but not via the app. Very interesting.

Anyone else find the workaround. I need to be able to trigger the prompt that asks if I want to allow app local access I think.
